Horizontal gear hobbing machine is a machine tool developed for the convenience of shaft gear processing needs. Compared to vertical gear hobbing machines, the main advantage is that clamping is more convenient, The machine tool adopts the hobbing or milling method to process various straight/helical gears, splines, coupling gears, as well as taper splines, etc: Special software platforms can be selected to process special workpieces such as herringbone teeth, drum teeth, worm gears, etc; Wet cutting or high-speed dry cutting processing can be selected according to demand.


Different from traditional spline milling machines, horizontal gear hobbing machines have a high degree of automation, with six axis and four linkage functions, automatic tool string and automatic angle adjustment functions. Through software, the processing of drum shaped teeth and taper teeth can be quickly achieved, and are equipped with a power outage and rollback function to ensure that the tools are not damaged in emergency situations.

The machine tool is horizontally arranged and mainly consists of seven components: the bed body, headbox, tailstock, middle bed body, column, indexing box, and rolling tool holder.
